The halls of the Indiana Convention Center, normally filled to capacity each December with tens of thousands of members of the global racing community for the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) show, will be unusually quiet this year, but the industry itself continues to make noise — and so, too, has the PRI Road Tour.
The Road Tour, a unique solution to a problem — an industry unable to come together due to the ongoing pandemic in our world — is motoring its way around the country, paying visits to manufacturers, racers, race teams, racetracks, and members of the automotive media to tell their stories through visual media.
The tour has already traversed from its home in Indianapolis to the Chicago area, east to the Carolinas and to the motor-city of Detroit, and dots on the map all in between, with stops planned all across the country before all is said and done. PRI has produced a whole range of content from each of its visits, which have includes such names, faces, and places in the drag racing world as Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis, Strange Engineering, the Mopar Drag Pak and Ford Mustang Cobra Jet build centers, Paul’s High Performance, the shop of NHRA legend Chris Karamesines, Summit Racing Equipment, Trick-Flow, Powermaster Performance, and many more.
See all of that and more on the PRI’s home on the web!
