As the official trailer/motorcoach dealer of Dragzine, Flying A Motorsports’ extensive lineup of new and used motorhomes and toterhomes, race car trailers, stacker trailers, car haulers, and cargo trailers will be highlighted here in a monthly feature, the Rig of the Month.
If you want to hit the racetrack or travel in luxury, this 2014 Renegade IKON motorhome will deliver in spades; built on a Freightliner Cascadia chassis and powered by a 600 horsepower Cummins diesel and Allison transmission package, this rig features all the bells and whistles in what is an impressive home away from home.
The motorhome sports a 30,000-pound hitch, full 7’6” interior height, a 4-point leveling system, keyless entry, full undercoating, 6-foot closet and 12-foot bedroom slideouts along with additional slideouts for the kitchen and second bed, and a ZipDee full length roof-mounted awning, among many other features. There’a also a 12.5kW Onan diesel generator onboard, three roof-mounted A/C units, a decked-out home theater system with blu-ray and satellite dish (DirecTV built in), a pair of Samsung smart TV’s, hide-away subwoofers, and a host of other creature comforts.
Inside, you’ll find a 60×80 queen bed, leather dinette, heated captains chairs, electric sofa, and ottoman, maple cabinets, heated granite tile flooring, granite countertops, GE appliances, a washer and dryer stack, and the list goes on. This rig is, suffice it to say, nicer than most homes.
