Event Preview: Shakedown Nationals XIX

Now in its 19th iteration, the COMP Cams Shakedown Nationals Presented by FuelTech is set to take over Virginia Motorsports Park on September 15-18, 2021, with some of the largest payouts of the year in radial racing’s hottest classes.

Big tire battles headline the event as Pro Mod returns to the show along with the stars of PDRA’s Pro Street class, running on 33×10.5 tires. Small tire drag radials are spotlighted in Pro 275, while Limited Drag Radial, X275, Ultra Street, Real Street, and Limited 235 all take part. Additionally, Top Sportsman racers can get in on the action as well as a special Super Pro, Super 64 shootout for sportsman competitors and other inclusive categories.

Year after year, the Shakedown Nationals event has delivered exciting action and drag racing drama with some of the biggest names coming to try their hand at entering the history books.
