The Warhawk block is a great replacement for GM LS1, LS7 or C5R blocks, and it is constructed from 357-T6 aluminum. These blocks are capable of 2,200+ horsepower which translates into engine builders being able to obtain more power with improved reliability. Prices for the Warhawk start at $4,499.99.
Bill Mitchell also has fully built engines and other engine components that are on clearance. A Big Block Chevy 566/950HP Drag Engine, which retails for $15,999, is starting at $12,799.20. They also have a LS1 Chevy 427 street engine that will make around 600 HP. This LS1 was originally selling for just under $20,000, but you can now get it for a cool $15,726.
