We know; we sound like a broken record that simply won’t stop playing. the sleek new Chevrolet Camaros are rolling out the back door of the chassis shops in Missouri and elsewhere as quick as we can write about them it seems, and it would appear on the surface that each creation is an attempt to trump the one before it.
The latest fifth-gen to cross our news desk is this insanely wild Camaro recently completed at the Jerry Bickel Race Cars shop in Moscow Hills, Mo. for NHRA Division 4 Top Dragster and Top Sportsman racer Keith Raftery, who will campaign the gorgeous new ride in the South Central divisions’ fast doorslammer category this season, in addition to some ADRL duty.
Raftery’s new Camaro features a wild and colorful scheme that you’ll either love or hate, depending on whether youprefer flash or the clean and simple solid color or two-tone look. Nevertheless, it’s sure to turn some heads when it hits the track in the coming weeks and will match quite nicely with Rafterys’ equally as colorful Top Dragster entry.
The Lake Charles, Louisiana-based racer earned a rare feat by winning both the Top Dragster and Top Sportsman championships in Division 4 in 2010.
