Keith Berry is no stranger to followers of our sister site, Dragzine.com, for his exploits in the world of Corvette drag racing. Now, on the infamous Yellow Bullet message board, you’ve got a chance to weigh in on whether basic black or deep red are the colors of choice for his ride.
From a photographer’s perspective, black is hard as hell – getting decent contrast and detail from trackside photos make it the bane of our existence. But there’s no denying that in the Real World, a properly-done deep black racecar is about as sinister and intimidating as it gets. On the other hand, a good shade of red is hard to miss in the staging lanes, and makes your car stand out among the competition.
So what’s your take on Keith Berry’s next graphic treatment for his C5 Z06 drag car? Basic Black, or Racing Red?
