NHRA: Race Recap on Dragzine. Vincent Nobile ran the table in Pro Stock at the Summit Racing Equipment Motorsports Park in Norwalk, first collecting the $50,000 K&N Horsepower Challenge on Saturday, and then fending off all challengers on Sunday to earn a $25,000 double-up bonus for his dominating performance. Andrew Hines kept the Vance & Hines unbeaten streak live in Pro Stock Motorcycle with his win, and in the process became the first three-time winner of the Norwalk event. Spencer Massey scored his fourth win of the season in Top Fuel, and Mike Neff earned his second in Funny Car with a defeat of Tim Wilkerson. IHRA Nitro Jam: The IHRA Nitro Jam Series pulled out all the stops for the Rocky Mountain Nitro Jam Nationals in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada over the weekend, including a full slate of nitro-burning machines, headlined by the addition of four Top Fuel Dragsters to the lineup. Bruce Litton claimed the opening day of Top Fuel action over Bobby Lagana Jr., as did Randy Bradford in Fuel Altered. Litton pulled off the double-up on Sunday, defeating Scott Palmer, while local favorite Tim Boychuk downed Jim Obalek in the Prostalgia Funny Car finale. Joining them was Fuel Altered winner Tom Padilla, Nitro Bike champ Randal Andras, and Rocky Mountain Nostalgia Funny Car victor Shane Reykdal. For more from Edmonton, log on to Drag Race Central.

Ironman $50K: Stephen McCrory claimed the Dixie House $50K at the Memphis International Raceway in Tennessee on Sunday, defeating Jeff Strickland by a slim .0016-seconds in the final, compliments of an .035 to .036 package. Chris Edison was Saturday’s big winner in a final that was decided by just .004-seconds at the stripe.
