The opening weekend for the newly formed X-treme Drag Racing League is just a few short weeks away and the support for the freshman eighth-mile racing league is steadily growing as more exciting news surrounding the X-DRL is announced.
Tim McAmis Race Cars and the X-treme Drag Racing League have a newly founded partnership as TMRC revealed they will be offering full support of the X-DRL for the coming 2013 season. The Tim McAmis trackside operation, Tim McAmis Performance Parts, will be present at each of the nine events this year to offer their assistance to racers in numerous ways.
“This will be the only 1/8-mile drag racing series that we will be supporting in 2013, and we are excited to be working with the X-DRL for the coming season and to attend each event,” TMRC Owner Tim McAmis said.
The rolling facility offers trackside support, from welding to fabrication, extra parts to trouble shooting, and beyond. The top-of-the-line support trailer is equipped to help aid in a multitude of ways should an emergency arise. According to McAmis, the transporter and TMRC staff will be providing even more services for this season.
“We are thrilled to take our team and truck and trailer to each X-DRL event and we plan on expanding our on-site presence even more at these races,” McAmis said. “The X-DRL will feature the best 1/8-mile racing in the world in 2013 and will visit some of the best tracks in the nation, and we’re thrilled to offer even more services out of our updated trackside support transporter.”
The TMRC partnership with the X-DRL will not be limited to the support truck. Additional announcements are yet to be released in relation to other aspects of backing the racing league, including contingency sponsorship and related facets.
“Tim McAmis Race Cars and Tim McAmis Performance Parts (TMPP) are going to support the X-DRL 100 percent and we will be doing whatever we can to help promote the series.”
