RC Components Introduces Apex Beadlock Liner Wheels

There’s no denying that racers are always looking for ways to go faster and improve their program. Technical limits are overcome thanks to research and development from companies, driven by the racers who use their products. RC Components created its Apex double beadlock liner wheels to allow racers to reach new performance goals.

Racers have found ways not only to generate more horsepower, but also how to transfer that horsepower to the racing surface. The problem is that tires struggle to consistently apply that power while also maintaining an acceptable lifespan. The answer to these problems is double beadlock liner wheels, which is why RC Components brought the Apex wheels to market.

Shawn Riggsbee from RC Components explains how these wheels help racers:

“In the small-tire world, like 28×10.5 racing, those cars make anywhere from 3,000 to 5,000 horsepower, and they would kill a tire in like four or five runs. With the liner, it actually supports the inside sidewall of the tire, and it’ll make the tire last 14 to 15 runs, and also give the car a whole lot more stability. So instead of your normal slick tire car that’s loose and all over the track at the big end, it’s more like a radial tire because it’s got a supported sidewall. So in general, it just makes the car a lot more stable, more tunable, and helps the tires last longer.”
