Pro Modified veteran Mike Janis and his Jan-Cen Racing Engines team have unveiled their fresh new look for the 2014 NHRA Pro Modified season that will adorn their supercharged 2013 Chevrolet Camaro during the 10-race campaign. The new scheme and color palette features the Jan-Cen branding with silhouettes of the supercharged engine that Janis and company are known for, and was designed by Peter Walters of PWRD. De Sign Art and Graphics out of Arcade, New York will apply the design.
Janis, a two-time Pro Modified world champion driver, finished fourth in the NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series standings in 2013. Janis won the NHRA Summernationals at his home track, Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in Englishtown, New Jersey, defeating then-reigning champion Troy Coughlin in the final round. He later scored one of the biggest victories of his racing career on Labor Day weekend, capturing the NHRA U.S. Nationals crown in Indianapolis with a close final round defeat of eventual series champion Rickie Smith.
Jan-Cen Racing Engines designs and builds world class race engines and superchargers for customers around the world, with customers in the U.S., Canada, Australia, and Europe.
