The drag racing community has lost another bright and colorful personality. Street Outlaws: Fastest in America star Christopher “Block” Gordon tragically passed away following a crash at KD Motorsports Park in South Webster, Ohio.
Like many racers, Block grew up watching his father, a grudge racer, compete at local tracks. Block eventually burst onto the national scene as one of the team leaders on Street Outlaws: Fastest in America. On the show, Block demonstrated just how tough of a competitor he was and even scored a decisive win for Team South Carolina.
As news of the tragedy spread across social media, fellow racers weighed in on the loss. Everyone shared a similar message about Block: he could light up any room he walked into and was a fierce competitor, but most importantly, he had a heart of gold.
