The horsepower and reliability offered by modern performance engines make them perfect candidates to power project vehicles. There can be challenges when making these engines fit, but Moroso has a solution for LS- and LT-based engines thanks to its high-clearance swap oil pans.

When you’re swapping a modern engine into an older chassis, clearance issues can be a big problem. Crossmembers, steering racks, and other parts can get in the way. The high-clearance LS swap oil pan that Moroso has developed addresses these issues.

Moroso made sure the pan will clear 4.25-inch-stroke engines that use most steel rods. This pan is equipped with a removable anti-slosh baffle that provides improved oil control. An inboard oil filter mount gives you even more clearance when you’re using block-hugger-style headers. This pan comes with an oil pickup, oil pan mounting stud kit, and an oil pan gasket to complete the installation. It also works with LS-car-application dipsticks.

The pan will work with the following platforms:

  • ’64-’72 A-Body
  • ’68-’74 X-Body
  • ’67-’69 F-Body
  • ’77-’95 G10/20/30 Van
  • ’71-’77 Vega
  • ’70-’72 Monte Carlo
  • ’55-’57 Tri-Five

If you’re trying to put a Gen V LT-based engine in your ride, Moroso’s fabricated aluminum oil pan is for you. This high-clearance oil pan has a spin-on oil filter adapter that adds more oil filter options for users. An integrated pickup and O-ring pickup pass-through are also baked into the pan’s design.

The wet-sump pan measures 6 inches deep and has a five-quart capacity, not including what the filter holds. Like the LS swap pan, this oil pan has a removable slosh baffle that provides additional oil control. The pan comes with a billet aluminum 22mm spin-on filter mount with a 1/4-inch NPT sensor port and an integrated dipstick provision for use with GM Part No. 12652951 Dipstick Tube and 12643278 Dipstick.

The pan will work with the following platforms:

  • ’64-’72 A-Body
  • ’68-’74 X-Body
  • ’67-’69 F-Body
  • ’77-’95 G10/20/30 Van
  • ’71-’77 Vega
  • ’70-’72 Monte Carlo
  • ’55-’57 Tri-Five
