In addition to their 150 amp and 240 amp high-output billet alternators, Flaming River has developed a racing-specific alternator perfect for drag racing and dirt track sports. This compact 93mm Denso style alternator comes in either 50 amp or 80 amp designs.
Features:
- Twin internal cooling fans and large press-fit diodes for better heat dissipation
- Safe operation up to 18,000 RPM shaft speed
- Self-exciting internal voltage regulator for easy “one wire” hookup
- 30 amp output at idle (50 amp unit only)
- Includes billet aluminum hard-coated V-belt pulley
- Can be ordered for use with 16 volt racing batteries
- High output 150 amp or 240 amp alternators are also available for non-racing applications
