The Mopar Express Lane NHRA Midwest Nationals at World Wide Technology Raceway was a memorable NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series national event for all the wrong reasons — unseasonably cold temperatures, strong winds, and ‘Lady Luck’ leading to an array of accidents that jammed-up the FOX Sports highlight reel. In the end, just Top Fuel and Funny Car were run to completion, but no doubt the fans got the entertainment they paid to see.
