Street car drag racing promotion Street Car Braggin Rights held its much-anticipated Small Tire Braggin Rights at the Darlington Dragway in South Carolina last weekend, with a host of big-time players in the no-time and drag radial racing world. The event featured a run-what-‘ya-brung shootout for virtually any vehicle on any tire, along with a small tire class for 28-inch slick and 275 drag radial-equipped cars, and an overdrive street car shootout, specifically for cars with H-pattern or overdrive transmissions.
When the dust cleared, Ricky Stanbro (RWYB), Kevin Mullins (Small Tire), and Jeremy Fail (Overdrive Shootout) all won their respective categories, claiming more then $40,000 in total prize money. DRAGZINE’s own Jenn Petraitis was in the house at Darlington capturing all the killer machinery on hand for this unique shootout put on by a group that is quickly gaining steam in the drag racing universe.
