After opening the new year with a bang on the west coast in Pomona and Phoenix, the stars of the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series and the NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Seres have descended upon the Auto-Plus Raceway in Gainesville for the annual east coast opener, the 45th annual Amalie Oil NHRA Gatornationals. The Gators serve as the season debut for the two-wheeled Pro Stock Motorcycle and the Pro Modified divisions, and ace photographer Steve Furhman will be bringing you all the sights of this historic event throughout the weekend!
