r3Yellow Bullet Nationals: Same day coverage from Cecil County. Doug Sikora made his cross-country trek from California to Maryland worth the effort on Sunday, scoring the Outlaw 10.5 title over Steve Gorman at the wildly popular Yellow Bullet Nationals at the Cecil County Dragway. Sikora was joined in the winners circle by defending X275 champion Rich Bruder, along with Paul Major, who scored one of the biggest wins of his career in Outlaw Drag Radial with a defeat of Mustang racing icon “Bid Daddy” Dwayne Gutridge. Mark McCloud was also a repeat winner, taking the Ultra 275 title with a 5.21-second holeshot defeat of John Keesey.

r2NHRA: Same Day Coverage from Indianapolis. Shawn Langdon dominated Top Fuel at the NHRA’s 59th annual Chevrolet Performance U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis, defeating Steve Torrence not once, but twice on the weekend, earning the rain delayed Traxxas Nitro Shootout crown on Sunday and following it up with a win at the “Big Go” on Monday. Robert Hight ended a long winless drought with a huge win in Funny Car over Jack Beckman, who was also searching for a double-up on the weekend, while Mike Edwards scored another Pro Stock victory on the season on a holeshot, 6.63 to 6.62, over V. Gaines. John Hall earned his first Indy title over teammate Matt Smith in Pro Stock Motorcycle, and Mike Janis collected perhaps the biggest win of his career in Pro Modified when he downed Rickie Smith in the money round. r4IHRA Division 2: Stacy Hall closed out of the IHRA’s Division 2 Heat Wave Pro-Am at the Darlington Dragway with a win in Top Sportsman over Calvin Snow, strapping a better light on Snow and forcing him further under the dial for the win. The Top Dragster was less climactic, as Brian Thompson went .004 red in the final, handing the easy win to Steven Hester. For complete coverage from Darlington, log on to Drag Race Central.

r1NHRA Division 6 ET: The Woodburn Dragstrip once again overcame 14 other track teams to earn the NHRA Division 6 ET Finals team crown Sunday at the Spokane Raceway in Washington. r5PMRA: Osgood, Ontario native Paolo Giust won his first PMRA event crown at the Grand Bend Motorplex over the weekend, powering his supercharged 1963 Corvette to victory over Derek Hawker with a 6.33 in the final.
