Racing engines are prone to high-frequency fatigue that, if not controlled, could result in catastrophic damage. Investing in quality valve springs will reduce valvetrain wear by controlling the dominant harmonics and providing much-needed stability. Ferrea recommends their single beehive springs for street performance, dragstrip, and other racing applications. The beehive springs are progressively coiled for tighter tolerances. Zeke also recommended Ferrea’s solid-piece super alloy stainless steel exhaust valve for high-boost, high-lift, and nitrous setups. Each spring design features a titanium retainer, spring seat locators, and valve locks.
