Who doesn’t love a new race car? The only thing better than a new race car is one packed with innovative features. Quarter-Max Racing is known for building championship-winning rides, and the Camaro it created for Pro Mod legend Bubba Stanton is completely trick.

Clyde Scott, owner of Quarter-Max Racing, has been around the Pro Mod scene for more than 20 years. When Scott purchased Quarter-Max Racing, he wanted to bring that experience into every car the company produced. This new Pro Mod incorporates all of that hard-earned knowledge, and then some.

Inside the cockpit, Quarter-Max added an adjustable steering column. That may not seem like much at first glance, but once you see how it allows the car to better fit the driver, it becomes clear why this is such a valuable feature. The pedal assembly is also fully adjustable, offering more than seven inches of range. This flexibility makes it much easier for drivers of different sizes to comfortably and safely fit into the car.

There are some clever features underneath the car as well, including an updated four-link bracket design. The new bracket features a built-in gusset that Scott has dubbed the “shark fin.” This gusset adds an additional contact point where the four-link bracket welds to the chassis. The added material significantly increases the bracket’s strength and helps prevent breakage during extreme tire shake.

Be sure to check out the video where Clyde Scott walks through these features and highlights even more details of this impressive new Pro Mod build.
