If you were fortunate enough to make it to the Ocean City, Maryland car show and cruise this weekend you may have been one of the few to already get a glimpse of this nasty notch. Luckily for those of us who missed it, or anyone just looking to see more of this cool ride, BMS Racing Engines is giving us a sneak peak into their first dyno tuning sessions, along with the essential details of the build.

From the rapid acceleration as this Fox channels the power to the rear hides, the sweet sound of the turbo making boost, or just the all-around clean setup – this is one car that couldn’t have been built much more perfectly. Inside that well-finished engine bay lies a 359″ SBF packing a big punch with small cubes. With the help of a trick set of TEA TFS-R Outlaw heads, Jesel drivetrain, Diamond pistons, a custom ground camshaft from Camshaft Innovations and the ‘Big Kahuna’ – a 116 mm Turbonetics turbocharger. We don’t always see such a big turbo on a small cube combination, but if built properly history has proven that the small block Ford can hold its own against the big blocks in a vast amount of arrangements.

As the video indicates in “street trim,” this pony laid down 957 RWHP at just 15 psi. Hopefully that’ll be enough to cruise around town on the weekends. On race day however, they plan to max out the turbo’s potential and run somewhere between 30-40 psi depending on track conditions and setup. As for what kind of racing this ride will partake in, the team plans to make some appearances at various drag radial events along with taking a shot at a few true street events. It’s probably safe to say that most guys would love to call something like this their very own “street car.”
