The NMRA and NMCA both released their event schedules yesterday for the 2013 seasons of the Ford-only and Muscle Car racing sanctions.

On the NMRA side, it’s their 15th Anniversary and they have a number of special events planned throughout the year. Much of the schedule remains the same as in past years but there are a few notable changes. There is a venue change to Summit Raceway Park in Norwalk, OH, and the Milan stop is off the schedule. In addition, the Columbus event is no more – there are six events on the schedule with a large gap between Route 66 and Beech Bend. On the NMCA side, it’s that sanction’s 25th anniversary and many special events are planned during the season at their races as well. The NMCA Milan date is also gone, again replaced by a stop at Norwalk. If you’ve never been to Summit Motorsports Park, you need to put it on your bucket list. We’re looking forward to ice cream!
