The Summit Racing Equipment 2025 Mid-West Drag Racing Series (MWDRS) is back for its ninth season, and the schedule is nothing short of spectacular. Spanning seven events across five states, this year’s lineup promises heart-pounding action for racers and fans alike.

The season kicks off April 11-12 with the Texas Nationals at Xtreme Raceway Park in Ferris, Texas. From there, the excitement shifts to Tulsa Raceway Park for the legendary Throwdown in T-Town on May 9-10. This fan-favorite event is a cornerstone of the series and always delivers unforgettable moments.

New to the calendar is the Ohio Nationals on May 30-31 at Edgewater Motorsports Park in Cleves, Ohio. This marks the series’ debut in Ohio, bringing its high-octane energy to a brand-new audience. Next, the Summer Smackdown takes over Flying H Drag Strip in Odessa, Missouri, on June 27-28, with racers returning to the same track for the Fall Smackdown on September 19-20.

September 5-6 will see the Funny Car Nationals roar into US 131 Motorsports Park in Martin, Michigan, promising a showcase of raw power and speed. The season wraps up in thrilling fashion on October 17-18 with the Throwdown in T-Town Finals, featuring the highly anticipated $10,000 Friday Night Pro Mod Shootout.
