Saturday Morning News From the Pits

I stopped by Pete Burners pit, Pete also races in IHRA Pro Stock, I asked him how he liked each one, he replied that with the ADRL and racing 1/8 Mile, that its more of a drivers race, you only have a short distance to get the win. With 1/4 mile racing you have a lot more ground to make up any ground thats needed. But Pete also said that theres nothing like running through the 1/4 mile traps at 200+ MPH

Gene Hecton had a little bit of bad luck yesterday with 2 backfires in his Pro Extreme car, They were busy in the pits this morning trying to make some last minute adjustments on their XTF car ready for the final round of Qualifying this morning.
