Nothing will start an argument faster between hardcore drag racers than someone claiming to have the quickest and fastest street car in the world. This is often a difficult title to officially claim since there are so many definitions on what a true street car should be. While there is still much debate surrounding this subject, one thing we know is that our friend Andy Frost from across the pond has been laying down some serious numbers withh is Red Victor 3 Vauxhall. We also know that this is one of the only a few 3,000+ horsepower cars in the world that can be legally driven on the street.

Frost recently lowered his personal best elapsed time by clocking a 6.494 at 224.76mph at the Santa Pod raceway in Europe. This record makes his strikingly handsome Vauxhaull the quickest street legal car in the World. At the time of this report, Andy and his crew are still working on the setup to get all of this power to the ground, so expect an update in the near future.

The Red Victor 3 Vauxhall is powered by an all-aluminum 539 cubic inch big block engine built by Marc Lamude. This engine features a pair of massive Gen2 91mm turbochargers supplied by Precision Turbo and a set of Turbosmart wastegates and matching blow-off valves. A billet Neal Chance Racing torque converter has the responsibility of transferring the immense power to the 3-speed Lenco transmission. Despite making an insane amount of power, the car is actually well behaved on the street thanks to the capability of Motec fuel injection system and adjustable boost control. 

Although the definition of a true street car is highly debatable, there is no denying the coolness factor of cruising around town in a 3,000+ horsepower Pro Modified car.  Andy Frost and his buddy have been known to cruise this red-hot ballistic missile on the streets of England as if it was his daily driver.  Regardless of your definition of a true street car, you have to admit that this is pretty darn cool.  If you haven’t seen the video of this car cruising around town, we would recommend that you take some time and check it out.
