The LSX Shootout is one of the years largest and sought after events for LS based vehicles. In 2010 the LSX Shoot out brings some big changes. One of the biggest changes this year is the venue. The shootout has always been held in Memphis, TN. Due to the closure of Memphis Motorsports Park this year’s races will be held at the Gateway International Raceway in Madison, Il October 7-10, 2010. Just minutes from St. Louis.

People come from all around the country to compete for the title in their class. According to NMCA they look forward to this LSX shootout being totally reworked from the parking to the schedules. Also looking to improve and rework and simplify the heads-up class rules. They look to make this one of the best shootouts to date.

-Index style Drag racing Class mostly for all cars not fitting into LSX heads up.
-Any LS style power plant allowed
-.500 Tree and Index Format
– Stock Bodied and stock appearance
-Must pass NHRA safety inspection
