The hit TV shows PINKS and PINKS: All Out took drag racing on TV to a new level. Show host and producer Rich Christensen helped drive the tension and drama of each episode. Pinks: All Out went off the air in 2010, but it’s about to make a big comeback with Bruno Massel Jr. as its new host.
Massel has an impressive resume both on and off the track. In NHRA Comp Eliminator, Massel has a total of four world titles and numerous national event wins. Massel has spent plenty of time in front of a camera as a part of the Garage Squad TV series, and as on-air talent for FOX Sports at NHRA events.

The new era of PINKS will begin at the POWERfest being held at Rockingham Dragway June 13-14. There will be several episodes of the show being recorded during this event. According to the POWERfest Facebook page, the new version of PINKS will be slightly different with a King of the Hill format. The PINKS Border Budget Build-Off will feature teams from the United States and Canada facing off. The losing team’s ride will be given away to a fan in the stands at POWERfest.
Bringing on Massel as the host of the show will give it a different feel. This change could be what PINKS needs to help it become a powerhouse once again that brings more eyes to drag racing. You can learn more about the newest version of PINKS and POWERfest right here.
