Street Outlaws’ star “Daddy Dave” Comstock unveiled his all-new Goliath 2.0 Chevy II at the recent PRI Show in Indianapolis, featuring a whole host of top-flight parts intended to help him return to the helm of OKC’s famous Top-10 list.

The big-block, nitrous-powered, big-tire Chevy II features a number of front-end components from our friends at Chris Alston’s Chassisworks, not the least of which, is their 7702 bolt-on front frame clip drag race strut system, which is the very same lightweight, 4130 product you can buy for your own 1962-67 Chevy II/Nova. The front clips, made from .083-inch wall, 1-5/8-inch round chromoly tubing, are designed as direct bolt-ins for race cars.

Chassisworks has paired their 7702 clip on Comstock’s car with their double adjustable Varishock coilover struts and billet rack and pinion steering system. The big 632-inch mill from TRE engines is also secured to the car using Chassisworks’ standard big-block Chevrolet motor plates.

After surviving a harrowing rollover crash in the first rendition of Goliath, Comstock and company set out to build a near carbon-copy of the car, with small changes to the chassis and the spec list. The build was completed in less than two months and, along with fellow Street Outlaws star Justin Shearer and his Crowmod, stole the show at PRI.
