The Charlotte race marked the third of 10 scheduled events for the 2025 Pro Mod season and was presented by Culp Lumber.
Driving his Al-Anabi Performance Camaro, Gray led the field throughout the weekend, ultimately securing the victory with a 5.656-second pass at 255.73 mph in the final round. The final quad also included Billy Banaka, Alex Laughlin, and Mike Janis.

“We’ve been cutting good lights all day long, and we were just going up to do the same thing again in the final round,” Gray said. “I’m happy with the light and happy with the performance. This team, these guys have made this thing a bullet.”
The victory marks Gray’s first Congruity NHRA Pro Mod win of the season and the second of his career. His performance this weekend also moved him into second place in the championship points standings. Gray entered eliminations as the No. 1 qualifier after a 5.680-second run at 254.76 mph and improved in each subsequent round.
