Big horsepower is back at Houston Raceway Park powered by Pennzoil  for the TX2K19 by Induction Performance event. If you love fast street cars then TX2K19 is the event to attend because there will be plenty on the track March 14-17. It wouldn’t be TX2K19 without the Roll Race Nationals by Summit Racing Equipment bringing out the fastest street cars in the world to battle it out. There will be plenty of action as supercars like twin turbo Lamborghinis take on everything from big horsepower GTRs to Corvettes to see who the fastest street car on the property is. The racing will be intense as cars will be reaching speeds over 220 mph during the Roll Race Nationals by Summit Racing Equipment when they scream down the track side-by-side.

The drag racing portion of TX2K19 will feature the same four GTR classes from last year, plus the new Unlimited GTR class where there are no restrictions on modifications. 2JZ-powered cars will still have their own class where there are minimal rules, but maximum horsepower is required. The Street Car Class will be broken up into three different groups for TX2K19: the Elite class will have the 16 quickest qualifiers, the Pro class will feature qualifiers 17-32, and Champ will have qualifiers 33-48.

The Stick Shift Challenge will also be broken up into two different classes at TX2K19. The Elite class is for the quickest 16 cars on the property, and the Pro class is for the 17-32 qualifiers. A new category for TX2K19 is the Heavyweight division — this is for cars that have a minimum weight of 4,200 pounds with the driver, factory OEM transmission, and one power-adder.
