Whenever the factory rolls out a new body style for a car anywhere near as popular for the Mustang, there’s always that crowd looking to go after the ‘first to do…’ honors. Whether it be the first to bust into the 10’s in street legal trim or be the fastest guy using that particular body, it’s a neat little accomplishment. Now, that may not be the case in this ’10 Mustang build for the Outlaw 10.5 class, it’s certainly one of the first ’10 Mustangs going with a build this extreme.

Via one of Gilsbach Racecraft’s Facebook Photo Albums, we found this sweet pony up on the rack at the Gilsbach shop.

The fine details we’d all love to hear are being kept somewhat under wraps for now, but we do know that when it’s all completed we’ll see Kevin Sievers behind the wheel. Hard to tell from the limited quality photos, but it seems like there’s a F3-sized Procharger under there for mockup. The car sits pretty low the way it is as most of the bodywork is completed, it looks to retain a fairly stock appearance other than the slicks out back and skinnies up front. In cases like this, simple can be good as it really retains the sleek look of the 2010+ Mustang styling.

Out back under the 25.x cage fabbed up by Gilsbach is the 4-link already in place with some Santhuff Coil-over Shocks, and a heavily braced and modified 9″ Ford rear end with some top of the line Strange axles inside. Can this killer newly-built ‘Stang retain the factory looks and pack a punch that’ll put the competition on the trailer?
