Frank Hawley is a true legend in the drag racing world. Not only is Hawley a multiple-time world champion, he’s also responsible for training countless drag racers through Frank Hawley’s Drag Racing School. Hawley is once again the owner of the drag racing school.
It’s hard to believe that Frank Hawley’s Drag Racing School has been around for over 40 years. During that time, Hawley and his staff have not only guided racers through the NHRA licensing process, but also helped them become better racers. Hawley’s school was briefly owned by the IHRA, but now it’s back in the hands of its founder.
“Over the years I’ve had the privilege of helping people fulfill their dream of driving drag race cars. Watching students earn their NHRA licenses, build confidence, and become better racers has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I’m excited to be back on the road with our incredible team, visiting the NHRA tracks we’ve called home for decades. We can’t wait to welcome old friends, meet new students, and continue doing what we love,” Hawley says.
Frank Hawley’s Drag Racing School tours as hard as a rock and roll band, crisscrossing the country teaching the art of drag racing. Now that Hawley is back as owner of the school, the plan is to return to visiting NHRA tracks, assist racers with earning their licenses, and much more.
