It seems as though the racing season only just began, but unfortunately, the latter months of the season are quickly approaching and no sooner than racers left the fabled Rockingham Dragway for the spring running of the Holcomb Motorsports Outlaw Civil Wars, the fall version is already on the radar.
The upcoming Outlaw Civil Wars, scheduled for September 23-25 in Rockingham, will have a lot to live up to following a hugely successful spring race that saw impressive fields in every category. Heads-up classes at the event will include Outlaw 10.5, True 10.5, Real Street, and 275 Drag Radial, while the touring King of the Streets series will bring some of their wicked street machines to play as well. Also in the lineup will be Open Comp, bracket, and index categories.
The one and only Tim Lynch powered his way into victory lane at the spring Civil Wars, qualifying #1 with a great 4.14 and downing Danny Lowry in an incredibly tight final round matchup. Joining him in victory lane was Kevin Fiscus, who also ran the table in True 10.5, along with Terry Morton, Justin Smith, and Craig Owen in King of the Street.
Mark your calendars now for September 23-25 in Rockingham, because the Holcomb Motorsports Outlaw Civil Wars will certainly be on the fall’s biggest and best doorslammer races. For more information on Holcomb Motorsports, log on to holcombmotorsports.com.
