Jiffy-Tite Continues As NHRA Sportsman Contingency Sponsor In ’14

Jiffy-Tite Motorsports, one of the leading manufacturers of Quick-Connect Fluid Fittings for the motorsports industry since 1963, announced last week that they will once again be a major contingency sponsor of the National Hot Rod Association in 2014, offering awards to winners and runners-up in the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series carrying the companys’ product on their race cars.

468974_403796303000708_1916175676_oJiffy-Tite’s contingency postings will cover all NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series national events, Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series divisional/regional meets, and the JEG’S SPORTSNationals sportsman national events in the Top Alcohol Dragster, Top Alcohol Funny Car, Competition Eliminator, Super Stock, Stock, Super Comp, Super Gas, and Super Street categories. NHRA national event postings will feature $300 payouts to winners and $100 to runners-up, with a total of $2,800 posted for all categories for the season-opening NHRA Winternationals.

To be eligible for the Jiffy-Tite contingency awards, competitors must have a minimum of $200 worth of Jiffy-Tite components on the car — with proof of purchase documentation on hand — and have Jiffy-Tite’s contingency decals displayed on both sides of the vehicle.
