Over the last three years, the PDRA has established itself as arguably the top Pro Mod racing organization in the world, and now they’ve made a move to take things to a new level with the addition of veteran race announcer Lee Sebring as its Promotions Director. Sebring has been showing off his talent behind the mic at outlaw races across the country for years, and has also served in front of the camera for the PDRA in their Quarter-Max Top End Zone. Now, he’ll be able to help advance the sport of drag racing even more in his expanded role with the PDRA.
For Sebring, this opportunity is a dream come true and will allow him to help bring even more awareness to the PDRA and their brand of racing. “My goal is to get people fired up for the season. Let’s face it, people today like drama and there’s a lot of competition in the PDRA to spark that. My goal is to show off the battles, have people glued to SpeedVideo and my live feed because they don’t know what’s going to happen next. I also want to show off to my current fanbase how awesome of an organization the PDRA is,” Sebring says.
As Promotions Director, Sebring will be involved in a number of activities and will be working with Will Smith, the PDRA’s Marketing Director, to grow the organization’s footprint. “I will be doing an online Facebook Live show through the PDRA Racing Facebook page. This will be every Tuesday and Thursday at 7 pm EST. The goal is to have the rumor mill going and showcase our racers by doing interviews. I will also be traveling around to some of our major sponsors and doing tours to show off their companies,” Sebring explains.
Make sure you check out the PDRA Facebook page so you can catch all of Sebring’s live shows and all the other exciting news about the PDRA. You can see every round of PDRA racing this season on SpeedVideo.com and catch the Southern Extreme Nationals right here March 10-11th at South Georgia Motorsports Park.
