The NHRA and Lucas Oil Products share a long history together. That relationship will continue after a multi-year partnership extension between the company and the NHRA. Lucas Oil will continue to be the “Official Oil of the NHRA” and title sponsor of the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series (LODRS).
In 2026, the NHRA LODRS features 47 divisional events, including 14 double-divisional events across North America. The action began in late February at Firebird Motorsports Park. The series also includes 24 regional events, with the season finale taking place in November at the In-N-Out Burger NHRA Finals in Pomona.

This partnership goes beyond Lucas Oil being the Official Oil of the NHRA and sponsoring the LODRS. It was also announced that Lucas Oil will maintain the title-rights sponsorship of Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park.
