Scheduled for February 20-23 and hosted by South Georgia Motorsports Park, racers are preparing for this year’s Lights Out V event sponsored by Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels.
Formerly known as the Night The Lights Went Out in Georgia, the Radial Revolution Lights Out V event will host an estimated 400 competitors in 10 different racing classes with class purses as high as $10,000.
“This event has a reputation for being some of the best small tire racing in the world,” stated Tom Kundrik, motorsports manager, Mickey Thompson. “Our ET Street Radial Pro tires were made for this kind of competition, and we’re looking forward to another great event.”
Mickey Thompson brought the ET Street Radial Pro P275/60R15 tire (part number 3754X) to the 2012 The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia III event and were thrilled to see the results – an outstanding 10 out of 14 X275 class qualifiers earned top spots, and every X275 class record was shattered using this race-only tire during qualifying rounds.
