Around this time last year, Peterson Fluid Systems had just debuted its new R4 style oil pump. The new oil pump style was lighter and was very well received by engine builders across the nation. The pump racked up numerous victories in everything from dirt track late models to dragsters. It even took home the victory in the Prelude to the Dream where Jimmie Johnson bested the field with his R4 equipped dirt late model. It also proved itself again, this time on a 800 + cubic inch ADRL nitrous motor. The 6 stage R4 with large scavenge rotors kept 20″ of vacuum in that beast of an engine at 8000+ RPM and still had 14″ of vacuum at idle.
Peterson has now made it easier for teams and engine builders to learn about its products by debuting a brand new re-vamped website. Customers can now log on to the Henderson Colorado based company’s website to browse products, search for dealers, find pump diagrams, and much more. The website makes it extremely easy for teams to find out more information on the R4 style or any of their other pumps, tanks or accessories.
