ProCharger provides potent levels of boost for racers across the globe in every major form of drag racing and 2018 has been another banner year for those racers. There have been multiple ProCharged combinations that have graced the winner’s circle in everything from no-prep to radial tire racing. With a couple months left in the season, ProCharger could add even more wins and records to their impressive collection this year.
Participants in the NMCA and NMRA represented ProCharger extremely well this year in each series; NMRA racer Andy Manson was able to capture the Street Outlaw title in his 1996 Mustang. On the NMCA side of things, Shawn Ayers won the Street Outlaw series championship driving the Goldust Mustang owned by Fletcher Cox, and James Lawrence brought home the Radial Wars title driving the Dragzine-sponsored BlownZ06 Corvette.
ProCharger also saw success in several other series this year across the United States. Manny Figueroa and Troy Baugh each won a championship in the WCHRA with their ProCharged machines. In the BIR 660 Series Taylor Gullikson was able to secure a title, while Jim Coger won a championship in the New England X275 series.
Besides collecting seven series champions in 2018, ProCharger racers have amassed over 68 wins so far in 2018. At the NHRA level, racers Less Feist in Top Dragster and Lester Johnson in Top Sportsman were just two of many racers that used ProCharger to help win a Wally. No-prep racing has also been represented well with several wins including some big ones from Brent Austin and Kayla Morton at major events. Radial tire racers have also won for ProCharger in 2018 with Lamar Swindoll, Rob Goss, and Rodney Ragen all leading the way.
