Adding Vehicle speed function to Racepak’s line of display dashes via the use of the new GPS V-Net module, user benefits include providing a speed data channel for analytical, display and odometer information. Now, users of Racepak’s popular display dashes, like the IQ3 and UDX, as well as any non-GPS equipped Racepak V-Net data recorder can add vehicle speed function through the use of Racepak’s GPS V-Net module. Utilizing a standard V-Net tee connector and a small roof-mounted antenna, this plug-and-play module eliminates the need to install and calibrate a wheel speed sensor and records altitude and GPS time as well. The module also activates the odometer function on equipped Racepak display dashes.
