Rickie Smith has never been averse to taking a gamble in order to stay on top and his new 2016 Jerry Bickel Race Cars-built Turbo Camaro is proof of that. Leaving behind his finely honed nitrous program in order to join the turbo ranks, Smith is betting he can take a totally fresh combination and stay on top of his Pro Modified competition. The Smith team is confident, but knows it will have a learning curve when it comes to the new turbo combination. Smith expects to begin testing the new car soon and if history is any indication, he will ready for action when the new car makes its debut.
