Rig of the Month: Flying A Cornerstone Motorhome By Entegra

As the official trailer/motorcoach dealer of Dragzine, Flying A Motorsports’ extensive lineup of new and used motorhomes and toterhomes, race car trailers, stacker trailers, car haulers, and cargo trailers will be highlighted here in a monthly feature known as the Rig Of The Month.

This month’s vehicle is a unique departure from standard race haulers and trailers. This 2015 Entegra Cornerstone motorhome recently consigned to Flying A Motorsports has the luxury to travel to the races in style with or without the race cars in tow.

“This Entegra Motorhome is equipped with a Cummins ISX engine rated at 600 horsepower,” says Alan Cape, President of Flying A Motorsports. “Though this motorhome is set up to haul a middle size, 28 to 32-foot stacker trailer, it never has.”

The Cornerstone 45K model was constructed on a Spartan Chassis, a high-quality standard of the motorhome industry. Cape notes this line of coaches is considered one of the better of mid-range motorhomes. “It’s not a million-dollar Prevost or Mercedes Ultimate; we’re talking a Lexus instead of a Chevy.”

The interior strikes you when you first walk into this coach; you are impressed with the dark and leather smell. High-quality furniture fills the space. A spacious layout is made possible due to four slide-out areas. Amenities include a Hide-A-Bed sofa, dinette area with an Induction two-burner cooktop, convection microwave, and Samsung french door refrigerator/freezer.

The master bath connects to the master bedroom which has a king bed, ceiling fan, and closet. There is also a Whirlpool clothes washer and dryer.

Entertainment was not forgotten by the designer. The living quarters feature a 40-inch Samsung LCD TV with Bose soundbar and, are you ready, wait for it … a fireplace. The master bedroom also has a 32-inch Samsung LCD TV with Bose soundbar. A Sirius AM / FM / CD / AUX touchscreen stereo system rounds out these extras.

The unit is also equipped with a high-quality Onan QD generator. Cape explains, “these are great generators designed as a battleship to be turned on at the beginning of a trip and click-away reliably until the return home.”

“This unit belongs to a brother of a loyal customer of Flying A Motorsports. They traveled to their kids’ sports activities as a family in this vehicle,” Cape adds. “As I mentioned, the motorhome has traveled less than 12,000 miles. A few scuffs in the belly storage areas from kids’ bicycles are the only indicator it has been used. This is a perfect fit for racing hospitality duties but also has the power to get a race trailer to the track, as well.”
