Rig of the Month: Flying A Motorsports 2019 Renegade Motorhome

The outer finish of this Renegade motorhome features custom paint, Diamond Shield anti-chip paint protection, four slide-outs, side swing baggage doors, and a keyless entry side door.

This month’s motorhome listing illustrates the faithful customer base that continually relies upon Flying A Motorsports for their needs. This 2019 Renegade RV Motorhome is the third rig this customer has purchased from Alan Cape, President at Flying A Motorsports, Inc.

“I sold it new to the retiring couple,” explained Cape. “This is the third rig they purchased from me. They also referred their friends to me. Now, they all travel together as they tailgate at many different types of racing events across the U.S.”

The interior is in exceptional condition, too, with this one-owner motorhome. Polished solid surface counter tops surround an induction cook top, stainless kitchen sink, tile backsplash, convection microwave, and 18 cubic-foot residential refrigerator.

This rig has approximately 40,000 miles on the odometer, which is notable since the 600 horsepower DD16 Detroit engine isn’t even considered to have completed the breaking-in process until the 50,000-mile mark. This motorhome is a Freightliner Cascadia Chassis that uses an Allison automatic shift transmission and a tandem axle rear drive assembly.

Continuing the lightly used chassis department, the rig offers a complete disc brake package and a four-point auto leveling system. Climate control uses a MaxAir vent system with three 15,000 BTU air conditioning units, and a 12.5-Kilowatt Onan generator. A 30,000 lb. hitch will handle any trailer in tow.

To say the Renegade rig was adult-owned and gently cared for is an understatement. The interior appears in exceptional condition with a 1 1/2 bath mid-entry floor plan with heated captain’s chairs, Flexsteel Hide-A-Bed, mini king bed, theater seating, and polished porcelain tile flooring above heated floors.

When taking it easy, a 49-inch pop-up HDTV with a sound bar is in the living room. A 43-inch LED smart TV is in the master bedroom; both sets are equipped with a Blu-Ray player. While enjoying life outside, there is an outside entertainment center with a 32-inch LED Smart TV and stereo system.
