Induction Solutions is taking a fresh look at one of the oldest ways to bring nitrous into an engine with its Guardian Nitrous Plate System. This new take on an old standby brings in a host of features racers will love and will be able to use to take their nitrous game to a new level. Not only does this new plate system come ready to race, it adds an extra layer of safety to the use of nitrous that racers will appreciate.

The development of the Guardian Nitrous Plate System is based on the idea to bring even more horsepower and safety into the plate nitrous delivery method. To address the safety goals of the new system, Induction Solutions added a set of self-resetting pressure relief panels that will assist in protecting a carburetor if the dreaded nitrous backfire occurs. Induction Solutions also added a fire protection sleeve to the nitrous and fuel lines that run into the plate to protect them if there is a thermal event under the hood.

The added power aspect comes from the blueprinting and jet mapping of the system that allows for more power to be squeezed out of the Guardian. The spray beam for the plate is made of billet aluminum with no epoxy that can fail or leak. The holes in the beam itself are CNC cut so they can support the horsepower rating the plate has, and to fill the plenum of the intake with nitrous during the distribution process.

One of Induction Solutions SuperMax .125 solenoids supplies the nitrous, while one of their .178 bottom exit fuel solenoids provides the fuel. These are the same units they offer in their X275 Direct Port Systems, so the Guardian is able to support some big power. This set of solenoids also gives racers the option to use a progressive controller to help make the power come in nice and smooth. These solenoids have been mounted to the plate via an aluminum bracket that already has filtered inlet fittings included.

The Guardian Nitrous Plate System is more than an off-the-shelf-type of setup –nit is customized to each racer’s combination before it ships. Each Guardian is flowed and blueprinted to match what fuel and pressure setting a racer is using on their engine. When the Guardian Nitrous Plate System arrives it includes jet mapping and machined wide stem jets for tune-ups that can add 100-450 horsepower in convenient 50 horsepower increments.

Induction Solutions is a company built by a former racer, Steve Johnson, so he understands what end users are looking for in their nitrous kits. According to Johnson, the Guardian Nitrous Plate System comes from Induction Solutions ready to go right out of the box. “Our complete system comes with one of our race-ready bottles, nitrous pressure gauge, large flared pickup tube, bottle nut, purge kit, and other items to help you be track ready. All you need to do is install the system, fill the bottle, and go racing. We also offer technical service after the sale for all of our customers so they can get the most out of the Guardian Nitrous Plate System.”

The Guardian Nitrous Plate system is geared towards any racer that wants to go fast while using nitrous, and have the peace of mind the system is safe.
