New Jersey’s Atco Raceway has put together a small program for Top Sportsman and Top Dragster that was a hit last season and will continue in 2011. There are four events again this year that racers can earn points towards the championship. Top Sportsman is for fast door cars that run on a full .500 tree and dial-in there E.T. each round. The fastest they can dial is 6.00 and the slowest is 7.90. Top Dragster is the same except it is for open bodied cars.

• Saturday August 27th 9:00 am
• Saturday October 22nd 9:00 am
Last year in Top Dragster, big time bracket racer, Dominic Balducci, won the championship. In Top Sportsman, it was Ronnie Regal in his brand new Camaro taking home the championship.

2. 6.00 – 7.90
3. NHRA membership and all required equipment per NHRA rules and regulations
4. Drivers running 7.49 and quicker must have an Advanced E.T. Competition license
all required safety equipment per the NHRA rules, including a SFI 3.2A/15 fire suit.
5. Cars running quicker then 9.99 seconds must have a SFI Chassis certification.
Cars running 7.49 and quicker must have an Advanced E.T. chassis certification.
6. All drivers and race cars must comply with NHRA rules and regulations
