The $125k-to-win IHRA Outlaw Pro Mod Nationals is shaping up to be one heck of an event. Darana Dragway – Milan (formerly Milan Dragway) is going to be packed with some of the best Pro Mod, Mountain Motor Pro Stock, Top Sportsman, and bracket racers in the country.

Pro Mod racing continues to experience explosive growth in popularity, and the racers have benefited greatly from the numerous big events. The Drag Illustrated Winter Series, PDRA, Midwest Drag Racing Series, and now the IHRA provide these eighth-mile warriors a place to showcase their skills. This has now given the racers a chance to run for some big money as well.

The IHRA Outlaw Pro Mod Nationals pre-entry list reads like a who’s who of the best doorslammer racers on planet Earth. There won’t be an easy round of racing once eliminations begin at the IHRA Outlaw Pro Mod Nationals.

“We’re really looking forward to bringing the Outlaw Pro Mod Nationals to Darana Dragway,” said IHRA Vice President Doug Foley. “There’s a lot of excitement around this event — the $125,000 payout and 32-car field have attracted some of the best in the country. It’s going to be a great weekend for racers and fans.”

Mountain Motor Pro Stock racers are also getting a chance to dance in the spotlight at Darana Dragway-Milan. The IHRA is throwing a nice $15k-to-win race for the big block boys. Top Mountain Motor racers like John Montecalvo, Chris Powers, Dwyane Rice, Cory Voss, Stroube Lander, and Kurt Neighbor will all be running for the big money.

There will also be a healthy contingent of top-tier bracket racers participating in the 64-Car Top Bulb Shootout Bracket Race. Top Sportsman drivers will have a chance to win $6,000 during the IHRA Outlaw Pro Mod Nationals.
