VP Racing Fuels and the fabled Texas Motorplex in Ennis, Texas today jointly announced today that VP has been named as the Official Racing Fuel of the Motorplex for the 2011 season. With the agreement, VP will become the exclusive supplier of on-site race fuels with many of their popular fuel blends, including VP110, C12, the unleaded VP100, and several other specialty fuels available in drums and pails. Racers will also be eligible for special VP Racing Fuels prizes and giveways throughout the regular weekly bracket racing series schedule.

The Texas Motorplex will kick off the new year on March 5 with a drivers meeting and test ‘n tune, with the official points series kicked off for the Texas Motorplex Bracket Racing Series beginning on Sunday, March 13.

Built in 1986, the Texas Motorplex was the first track to feature an all-concrete surface and stadium-style seating. Owned by former Funny Car driver Billy Meyer, the facility hosts racing and car show events between March and November each year and recently opened the Champions Club: an 11,000 square foot structure that serves fully catered events throughout the season.
