Our friends over at Weldon Racing, one of the premier manufacturers of fuel pumps and fluid system components for motorsports, have joined the Dragzine family of sponsors for 2014. Weldon Pump, a division of the Weldon Tool Company, began producing pumps way back in 1942 for the military, and after World War II, moved into the general aviation market, where they have made thousands of fuel pumps over the decades since that time.
A logical expansion into the marine and high performance markets followed in 1980, and in the years since Weldon has established themselves as one of the go-to companies when fuel system products of the highest quality are required for an application. Each Weldon pump is rebuildable, flow tested, and shipped with a chart showing the exact pressure versus flow data – information that is critical to a tuner when trying to extract the most performance from an engine.
Weldon Racing boasts ISO 9001:2008 certification, meaning that their manufacturing standards are held to the highest level of consistency.
The company offers a wide variety of electric and mechanical fuel pumps, fluid pumps, fuel pressure regulators, and filters designed to perform in the most demanding applications.
With that said, Weldon Racing is proud to announce that they’ve re-signed contingency agreements with the NHRA, NMCA, NMRA, and PSCA for the 2014 drag racing season. Weldon’s products can be found in top-flight racing classes like NHRA Pro Stock, NMRA Street Outlaw, and the PSCA’s Outlaw 10.5 and Pro Street classes.
To be eligible for Weldon contingency awards, competitors must use Weldon pumps and regulators, and have Weldon High Performance contingency decals displayed on both sides of their vehicle. To register for Weldon contingency please visit this link.
