For the princely sum of $300,000.
Texas racer Jared Winger has put his spectacular new ’69 Chevelle that he intended to campaign in “Street Outlaws No Prep Kings” (NPK) on the market, and while a significant investment for him or any buyer, it’s an indication of the caliber of machine it takes to compete with the heaviest of no-prep hitters these days.
The Chevelle, built using a steel roof and quarter panels per the NPK guidelines, was built by Jerry Haas Race Cars in Missouri and finished in a sleek forest green-like pearl. Winger Race Engines built a 522 cubic-inch big-block Chevy with an F-3 series ProCharger. Winger told us the car was shaken down in St. Louis, but has since been parked and now placed for sale. One can also buy it as a roller for $240,000, if something like a Hemi is more your style. Either way, someone buy this thing so we can see it rip!
