The kick off to Drag Week 2014 got underway on Sunday at Tulsa Raceway Park for the 350-plus registered racers to get their rides through tech. When all was said and done, 310 cars made it through inspection with all of the wait list racers who showed up being allowed to participate. The rundown for entries in each class is as follows: Daily Driver – 127, Hotrod – 6, Gasser – 10, Street Race Small Block N/A – 20, Street Race Small Block Power Adder 32, Street Race Big Block N/A – 28, Street Race Big Block Power Adder – 9, Super Street power adder – 18, Super Street Small Block N/A – 7, Super Street Big Block N/A – 2, Modified N/A – 8, Modified Power Adder – 11, Pro Street N/A – 5, Pro Street Power Adder – 6, Unlimited 18.

Just about everyone spent time shaking down the combos during the day with a lot of racers making 1/8^th mile to 1000’ ft hits as to not let everyone in on their setups.
