The Chevrolet LSX based motor remains one of the most popular on the market today for performance enthusiasts. Capitalizing on that popularity, Jesel has introduced a new LS7 steel pedestal 1.8 ratio shaft rocker arms that is designed for the COPO Camaro than can work on stock heads as well. These upgraded rocker arms are an ultra-strong, direct bolt-in rocker that can be used on the LS7 platform.
The new steel pedestal 1.8 ratio shaft rockers were originally designed for the NHRA COPO LS7 Camaro cars that run in various classes. According to Rob Remesi from Jesel, these rocker arms are all business for those with performance needs. “There was a need to improve the stock unit, so that’s the reason we put the research and development into these rockers. The target is the COPO program, but they can also be used on other LS7 applications as well. These are extremely strong rocker arms that help smooth out the operation of the entire valvetrain.”
Jesel packed these new rocker arms with tons of great features that help with performance and reliability. They use the factory geometry so no machine work is required, they have needle bearing roller tips, needle bearing trunion, and a ball-style lash adjuster. The bodies are also heat treated and get a REM finish to make them as smooth as possible.
Jesel plans on releasing these new high-strength rocker arms sometime during Q1 of 2017. Make sure you hit up Jesel’s website for all the information on these new rocker arms, and their other great products!
